2019 Conference Group Registration Form

FIELD TRIP: Distinguished Civil War historian, Dr. James Broomall, will lead a tour of Civil War sites in the region, including Antietam National Battlefield, Harpers Ferry and the arsenal attacked in the John Brown raid, the site of the John Brown trial, and historic Shepherdstown, hospital town in the aftermath of the Antietam Battle. That battle was the single bloodiest day in American history with 23,000 casualties. The field trip is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, May 30. A second tour can be arranged Sunday, June 2, if requested. Tour price: $20 Dr. Broomall is the director of the George Tyler Moore Center for the Study of the Civil War in Shepherdstown, WV.

Tour times:
Dr. James Broomall’s Civil War tour on Thursday, May 30, is 1-5 p.m. $20
The Sunday Civil War tour will be led by Dr. Ben Bankhurst, June 2, 1-5 p.m. $20 (The 2 tours will visit the same sites.)
The walking tour of historic Shepherdstown will be led by historian-preservationist, Dr. Keith Alexander, and focus on the town’s history and architecture, 10-11 a.m. on Friday, May 31. No charge.
