Theme: Build Bridges, Break Barriers: Optimize International Education
Get ready for the Phi Beta Delta 2024 Virtual Conference!
On Friday, April 26 Phi Beta Delta will present an engaging showcase highlighting the dynamic experiences of its
chapters and members. This virtual conference enables Phi Beta Delta members around the world to share their
ideas and network with each other. Therefore, The conference committee invites your chapter to submit a
session proposal highlighting the wonderful scholarship that is happening at your institution.
The conference theme is “Build bridges, break barriers: Optimize international education.” This theme conveys
the idea of connectivity, collaboration, and empowerment within international education. It encourages a
mindset of breaking down barriers and fostering a truly interconnected global, international education
experience.
Chapters are the heart of Phi Beta Delta, and each one brings unique and valuable experience and expertise, so
that is why this conference shines the light on YOU. Now is the time for your chapter to identify great
achievements of your members: faculty, staff, and students. Each session will be 45 minutes long, and your
chapter is responsible for managing that time creatively to optimize your contribution and maximize their impact.
Examples include but are not limited to: single or several presenters, panels, partnerships, research, beneficial
practices, and creative expression. Share your value internationally!
As you are developing your proposal, keep in touch with your regional vice president; they may bring additional
expertise to inform your efforts.
Please submit your chapter proposals via http://tinyurl.com/PBDconfProposal2024 [tinyurl.com] by March 22 for
the conference committee to review and schedule your time.
Keep on the lookout for the registration form. The cost will be $25 students, $50 individual faculty/non-students,
